Don’t worry – I haven’t stole your password.
This website was built in the interests of educating students about inputting their passwords into any old website.
By day I am a teacher of Computer Science in West Yorkshire, UK and I see many students using password checking websites when we talk about password security. Once they have inputted their password I generally ask them “How do you know that website hasn’t just stolen your password?”
This site is a continuation of that joke but hopefully it will actually teach them not to input their password into random websites!
